Decided to try something new, so we decided to try a little bit of everything. The fish tacos and shrimp tacos were very good. The crab legs were large are fresh and steamed to perfection. The shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes were on the spicy side, but they were still good. The catfish filets were so big we couldn’t finish them and tasted great as well. We loved the boudin balls wish we had bought more of them.

We ate from the food truck in Northport, AL. It was amazing. The fish tacos are delicious. Seasoned well and topped with some cheese, pico, and their outstanding sauce. Service is exceptional and very friendly. If you see the food truck, stop by! Totally worth it!
Happened to find TJ’s 15 minutes before they closed at the CVS in Jacksonville tonight. He said they’re there every Thursday from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and I will absolutely be back! We got the crab and shrimp plate and the catfish and shrimp plate. They came with potato, corn on the cob, sausage and a Boudin Ball. Haven’t tried sausage yet, but judging from the rest, it’s bound to be delicious. My second experience with a Boudin Ball. I wasn’t impressed with the first one from a different place. This one was excellent. My husband said the crab and shrimp were great. We also got a cup of the gumbo. This is only the second time I can remember someone else’s gumbo being considered authentically good, so I highly recommend. Of course, the meals might be considered a little expensive, but you can’t get these quality ingredients at Captain D prices! I appreciate that TJ takes his delicious food to different places so many get to enjoy it!🙂😋
So I am originally from Louisiana and found out TJ was from there as well and I’ve been missing some home cooking. This is perfect, a little pricy but honestly the taste and service more than made up for it. He even let me try a few things for free. I’ve gotten the catfish, boudin balls and shrimp so far and I’ve loved it every time. Boudin is a staple in La and had many a link in my day so very happy to have it again. If you want some authentic Cajun food swing by if his truck is in your area. Les bon temps roullier!
I dont have a photo to share because it all got inhaled before one could be taken🤣 we hit up this food truck Saturday when they stopped by main channel in Albertville. FANTASTIC FOOD. Out of crawfish so we didn’t get to try it BUT the shrimp and crab legs are soooooo good. Cant wait for them to come back to the Albertville, boaz, guntersville area!!
