I have been a big fan of Hungry Hut for many years. When I was young, my family frequently ate here. Now that I am older and have a family myself we still enjoy the great food here. Some of my favorites are their fried green tomatoes, meatloaf, pinto beans, and chicken fingers just to name a few. They used to serve a divine cornbread salad and I would LOVE to see that back on the menu. They also serve wonderful pies and cakes. Thank you Hungry Hut for being such a great place for me and my family to enjoy!!

A hidden gem of glencoe. The food is always amazing, the staff are friendly, and the price is spot on for what you get. The atmosphere is a little heavy on local advertising, but I cant blame them, its a smart move. I recommend the fried catfish plate.

If you love good country cooking you will love Hungry Hut. They have a daily special everyday or you can order off the regular menu. Their fried green tomatoes are some of the best I’ve had! Everything there is delicious. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to your table. It’s just good country cooking!

Such a great hidden gem. So trilled to have stumbled across this on the way back from Huntsville to Atlanta. The best bbq I ever had. And may I suggest the fired banana pepper rings. The service was like a well oil machine. Every was working so hard.

Today was my first time at hungry hut. I got the philly sandwich and my mother had the country fried steak. Both were very good and portion size was alright for the price. The fried banana peppers were really delicious. The menu is expansive with something for everyone. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for good food and Southern hospitality.
